The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, cedar and tobacco infusing the black fruit, classic in style with a conservative yet focused finish that lingers in the mouth. This is certainly the most subtle First Growth, but one of the most refined too - a sophisticated but understated Lafite-Rothschild that will age with discrete style. Despite the warm year (which they have always said they found cooler than 2010), the wine is "only" 14% alcohol, which is quite moderate for the last few years when the wines routinely reach 14.5%. I found the wine to be quite tannic and lacking the charm I expect in this cuvée. Perhaps with more time? It was produced with a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and other grapes from 3.8 hectares of selected plots from the Remelluri vineyards, cropped from a challenging year with frost. This feels young but already very Rioja, marked by the Garnacha, which could represent around 30% of the bottled blend. It's tense and has abundant but fine-grained tannins, a little Italian in style. They kept a lower alcoholic degree in 2019, a moderate 14%, and the wine comes through as very elegant. Part of the wine matured in 20,000-liter oak casks, so it's not all barrique. This is the first time they used the vats, and based on the results, Sisseck thinks in the future Pingus will be around 50% in oak vats. The Pingus vines were planted in 1929 in two different sectors of the village of La Horra, Barroso and San Cristobal and contain some 2% other varieties. The vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic and are manicured like few vineyards in Spain. The wine is subtle and harmonious, elegant and insinuating, with all the components in very good balance. This is precise and pure; Sisseck is thorough and meticulous, and the wine shows that precision. This follows the line of the 2016, showing very well even if it was bottled only one month before I tasted it. 9,300 bottles were filled in August 2020.(The Wine Advocate, Jul 01, 2021) ¥Ô¥ó¥°¥¹ 2018 ¥É¥ß¥Ë¥ª ¥Ç ¥Ô¥ó¥°¥¹ Dominio De Pingus Pingus ¥¹¥Ú¥¤¥ó À֥磻¥ó ¿·Æþ²Ù 198,000 円

The 2021 Siepi (in a heavy glass bottle) opens to sweet fruit nuances of cooked cherry, blackberry preserves, cinnamon and nutmeg. This full-bodied wine is supple and very soft in terms of mouthfeel, and its flavor profile is expansive and all-encompassing. Production of 2013 and 2014 was skipped, and the next vintage we shall see (very soon) is 2015, which is also reviewed in this report. This vintage produced large berry sizes for Sangiovese - something Bibi Graetz is always happy to see because it is an indicator of elegance and finesse within the context of the house style. If you consider this wine, his observation makes perfect sense. This warm vintage is powerful and rich in its natural state, so any additional berry density might easily lead to overextraction and heaviness. However, the mouthfeel is objectively thinner and more compact in this vintage. Colore represents a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino in equal parts. The bouquet is redolent of wild berry, dried cherry and toasted spice. This vintage offers a very attractive mineral note as well. Fruit is selected from three of Bibi Graetz's favorite vineyards with ancient vines: Lamole (in Chianti Classico), Vincigliata and Siena. In 2021, the blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carmenere and 5% Merlot (no Cabernet Franc this year). It has a ripe and heady nose, with 14.68% alcohol (15% on the label), mellow acidity and intense notes of red peppers, ripe blackberries and cassis and some spiciness from the oak. It matured for one year in French barriques, only 10% new and 90% second use. It has a little less structure and softer tannins, making it more approachable than previous years, a profile that seems to be the signature of the year. It's medium to full-bodied with velvety, more polished tannins, and it is more delicate and less concentrated, with more finesse. But I find these quite homogeneous and regular, this year with no raisins or dehydrated grapes, and in this vintage, it feels open and expressive. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2023.(The Wine Advocate, Sep 01, 2023) ¥¨¥× 2021 ¥¢¥ë¥Þ¥ô¥£¡¼¥ô¥¡ Almaviva Epu ¥Á¥ê À֥磻¥ó ¿·Æþ²Ù 8,800 円

Unusually, there is no Cabernet Franc in the blend this vintage, as it was affected by the wildfire smoke. Deep ruby-purple in color, it is shy to begin, taking time to reveal pure red plums, chocolate, graphite, green bell pepper and tobacco leaves. The medium-bodied palate offers generous, alluringly herbal fruits, a luxurious, silky frame and seamless acidity, finishing long and latent. It develops dramatically in the glass, suggesting it will require a few hours in the decanter to show at its best. 1,910 cases were made; this will be released in February of 2023.(The Wine Advocate, Feb 17, 2023) ¥½¥Î¥Þ¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ÎĺÅÀ¤Î°ì³Ñ ¥Ô¡¼¥¿¡¼ ¥Þ¥¤¥±¥ë Peter Michael °Û¿§¤Î·ÐÎò¤ò»ý¤Ä¥«¥ê¥¹¥ÞÀ¸»º¼ÔIT¼Â¶È²È¤È¤·¤Æ40ÂåȾ¤Ð¤ÇÀ®¸ù¤·¤¿¥Ô¡¼¥¿¡¼¥Þ¥¤¥±¥ë»á¤Ï¡¢¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢¤ËÄ̤¦¤¦¤Á¤Ë¡¢¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ÎÌ¥ÎϤˤȤê¤Ä¤«¤ì¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ ¥ï¥¤¥ó¤¤ê¤ÎÌ´¤ò¤«¤Ê¤¨¤ë¤¿¤á¡¢¥Ê¥Ñ¤È¥½¥Î¥Þ¤òÁö¤ê²ó¤ê¡¢Åö»þ¤Ï¤À¤ì¤â¸«¸þ¤¤·¤Æ¤¤¤Ê¤«¤Ã¤¿¥½¥Î¥Þ¡¦¥«¥¦¥ó¥Æ¥£¤Î¥Ê¥¤¥Ä¥ô¥¡¥ì¡¼¤Î¸µËÒ¾ì¤ÎÅÚÃϤò¹ØÆþ¡£ ¥Ü¥ë¥É¡¼¡¦¥Ö¥ì¥ó¥É¤ÎÀ֥磻¥ó¤È¡¢¥Ö¥ë¥´¡¼¥Ë¥å¡¦¥¹¥¿¥¤¥ë¤Î¥·¥ã¥ë¥É¥Í¤òÀ¸»º¤·»Ï¤á¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ º£¤Þ¤µ¤ËÆþ²Ùº¤Æñ¤ò¶Ë¤á¤ë´õ¾¯¥ï¥¤¥ó¥Ô¡¼¥¿¡¼¡¦¥Þ¥¤¥±¥ë¤Ï¥«¥ë¥È¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Î¸µÁĤǤ¹¡£ ¥ï¥¤¥ó¡¦¥¹¥Ú¥¯¥Æ¡¼¥¿¡¼»ï¹±Îã¤Î2015ǯ¤Î¥È¥Ã¥×100¤Ç¤Ï¡¢¥«¥Ù¥ë¥Í¡¦¥½¡¼¥ô¥£¥Ë¥è¥ó¡¦¥ª¡¼¥¯¥ô¥£¥ë¡¦¥ª¡¼¡¦¥Ñ¥é¥Ç¥£2012¤¬¥È¥Ã¥×¤ËΩ¤Á¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ ÆüËܤؤÎÍ¢½Ð¤Ï¾¯Î̤ǡ¢º£¤â¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ÎĺÅÀ¤Î°ì³Ñ¤È¤·¤Æ¡¢¸÷¤êµ±¤¤¤Æ¤¤¤ë¸ºß¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥Ô¡¼¥¿¡¼ ¥Þ¥¤¥±¥ë °ìÍ÷¤Ø ¥Ô¡¼¥¿¡¼ ¥Þ¥¤¥±¥ë ¥ì ¥Ñ¥ô¥© 2020 ¥Ô¡¼¥¿¡¼¥Þ¥¤¥±¥ë Peter Michael Les Pavots ¥¢¥á¥ê¥« ¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢ À֥磻¥ó ¿·Æþ²Ù 39,800 円

This full-bodied effort is concentrated and long, but it does exhibit a slightly coarse texture.(The Wine Advocate, Jun 09, 2023) À¤³¦¤Ëǧ¤á¤é¤ì¤¿¡¢¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Î¥Ñ¥¤¥ª¥Ë¥¢ ¥¤¥ó¥°¥ë¥Ì¥Ã¥¯ Inglenook Á϶È1879ǯ¡£ ³«ÂóÁ¥¤ÎÁ¥Ä¹¤À¤Ã¤¿¥°¥¹¥¿¥Õ¡¦¥Ë¡¼¥Ð¥à¤Ë¤è¤ê¡¢¥¹¥³¥Ã¥È¥é¥ó¥É¤Î¸ÀÍդǡְÏϧ΢¡×¤ò°ÕÌ£¤¹¤ë¥¤¥ó¥°¥ë¥Ì¥Ã¥¯¤È¤¤¤¦ÅÚÃϤǥ֥ɥ¦¤ÎºÏÇݤò³«»Ï¡£ 1887ǯ¤Ë¤Ï¥Ê¥Ñ¡¦¥ô¥¡¥ì¡¼¤Ç½é¤á¤Æ¤È¤Ê¤ë¥°¥é¥Ó¥Æ¥£¡¦¥Õ¥í¡¼¤òºÎÍѤ·¤¿±¿ÈÂÀßÈ÷¤ä¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢½é¤Î¥Ö¥É¥¦ÁªÊÌÂæ¡¢Éӵͤá¥é¥¤¥ó¤ò´°È÷¤·¤¿¾ú¤ÀßÈ÷¤ò´°À®¡£ ¤½¤Î¸å1889ǯ¡¢¥Ñ¥êËüÇî¤Ç¶ä¾Þ¤ò¼õ¾Þ¤¹¤ë¤Þ¤Ç¤ËÀ®Ä¹¡£ ¤½¤·¤Æ1999ǯ¡¢Åö»þ¥ï¥¤¥ó¡¦¥¹¥Ú¥¯¥Æ¡¼¥¿¡¼»ï¤ÎÊÔ½¸¼Ô¤À¤Ã¤¿¥¸¥§¡¼¥à¥¹¡¦¥µ¥Ã¥¯¥ê¥ó¥°»á¤¬ÁªÄꤷ¤¿¡Ö20À¤µª¤ÇºÇ¤â°ÎÂç¤Ê12ËܤΥ磻¥ó¡×¤Ë¡¢¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥Þ¥ë¥´¡¼1900ǯ¤ä¥í¥Þ¥Í¡¦¥³¥ó¥Æ¥£1937ǯ¤È¤¤¤Ã¤¿ï£¡¹¤¿¤ë¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Èʤӡ¢¥¤¥ó¥°¥ë¥Ì¥Ã¥¯1941ǯ¤¬Áª½Ð¤µ¤ì¤ë¤È¤¤¤¦²÷µó¤òÀ®¤·¿ë¤²¤¿¡£ ½çÉ÷ËþÈÁ¤À¤Ã¤¿¤¬¡¢·ÐºÑŪ»ö¾ð¤«¤é¥ï¥¤¥Ê¥ê¡¼¤òÇäµÑ¡£ ¤·¤«¤·¡¢¥´¥Ã¥È¥Õ¥¡¥¶¡¼¤ÇÃΤé¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡¢±Ç²è´ÆÆÄ¥Õ¥é¥ó¥·¥¹¡¦¥Õ¥©¡¼¥É¡¦¥³¥Ã¥Ý¥é»á¤¬¥ï¥¤¥Ê¥ê¡¼¤ò¹ØÆþ¸å¡¢2011ǯ¤Ë¾¦É¸¸¢¤ò¼è¤êÌᤷ¤¿¤³¤È¤Ç´°Á´Éü³è¡£ ¤Þ¤¿¡¢Æ±Ç¯¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥Þ¥ë¥´¡¼¤Ç20ǯ°Ê¾å¤Î¥¥ã¥ê¥¢¤ò¸Ø¤ë¥Ü¥ë¥É¡¼¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Î¥¹¥Ú¥·¥ã¥ê¥¹¥È¡¢¥Õ¥£¥ê¥Ã¥×¡¦¥Ð¥¹¥³¡¼¥ë»á¤¬Áí»ÙÇۿͤ˽¢Ç¤¡£ ¥Õ¥£¥ê¥Ã¥×»á¤Ï¥Þ¥ë¥´¡¼¤ÇĹǯÇݤ俥Υ¦¥Ï¥¦¤ò³è¤«¤·¡¢2013ǯ¤«¤éÂçÃÀ¤ÊÊѳפò¼Â»Ü¤·¤¿¡£ ºÏÇݤǤϡ¢ÑòÄê¤Î»þ´ü¤òÁá¤á¥¥ã¥Î¥Ô¡¼¡Ê¼ù´§¡Ë¤ò½Ì¾®¤µ¤»¼ýÎ̤òÁý¤ä¤·¤¿¡£ ¤Þ¤¿¡¢¼ý³Ï¤òÁá¤á¡¢¤è¤ê¥Õ¥ì¥Ã¥·¥å¤Ê»ÀÌ£¤ò»ý¤Ã¤¿¥Ö¥É¥¦¤ò¼ý³Ï¤¹¤ë¼êË¡¤Ø¤Èž´¹¡£ ¾ú¤¤Ë´Ø¤·¤Æ¤Ï¿·¤·¤¤½ü¹¼ÀßÈ÷¤òƳÆþ¤·¤¿¤³¤È¤Ç¥Ö¥É¥¦¤Î»À²½¤òÍÞÀ©¡£ ½ã¿è¤Ê¸ÄÀ¤¬É½¸½¤µ¤ì¤¿¥¢¥í¥Þ¤ÎÃê½Ð¤¬²Äǽ¤Ë¡£ ¤Þ¤¿¡¢¥Ý¥ó¥Ô¥ó¥°¥ª¡¼¥Ð¡¼¤ò¼Â»Ü¤¹¤ë¥¿¥¤¥ß¥ó¥°¤â¥Ö¥í¥Ã¥¯¤´¤È¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ÇÊѹ¹¡£ ¤½¤Î·ë²Ì¡¢²áÅ٤ʿ§ÁǤ䥿¥ó¥Ë¥ó¤ÎÃê½Ð¤¬ÍÞ¤¨¤é¤ì¡¢ºÇ½ªÅª¤Ê¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Î¥Ð¥é¥ó¥¹¤ä¥¹¥È¥é¥¯¥Á¥ã¡¼¤Î¼Á¤â¹¹¤Ë¸þ¾å¡£ ¤³¤¦¤·¤Æ¥Õ¥£¥ê¥Ã¥×»á¤Î¼êÏӤˤè¤Ã¤Æ½ÐÍè¾å¤¬¤Ã¤¿¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Ï¡¢¥¸¥å¡¼¥·¡¼¤Ê²Ì¼ÂÌ£¤¬¤¢¤ê¤Ê¤¬¤é¤â¥¿¥ó¥Ë¥ó¤Ï¤·¤Ê¤ä¤«¡¢åºÎï¤Ê»ÀÌ£¤¬¤·¤Ã¤«¤ê¤È´¶¤¸¤é¤ì¤ë¥¹¥¿¥¤¥ë¡£ ¤Þ¤¿¡¢¶Ã¤¯¤Û¤É¥Õ¥£¥Í¥¹°î¤ì¤ë°ïÉʤ˻ž夬¤ê¡¢À¤³¦Ãæ¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¥é¥ô¥¡¡¼¤ò̥λ¤·¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡£ ¥¤¥ó¥°¥ë¥Ì¥Ã¥¯ °ìÍ÷¤Ø ¥¤¥ó¥°¥ë¥Ì¥Ã¥¯ ¥ë¥Ó¥³¥ó 2020 Inglenook Rubicon ¥¢¥á¥ê¥« ¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢ À֥磻¥ó ¿·Æþ²Ù 33,800 円

While moderately less complex, it delivers waves of black cherries without any of the vintage's characteristic coarseness. Medium to full-bodied, layered and vibrant, it's taut and structured, with a deep core of fruit, chalky tannins and a long, perfumed, vanillin-inflected finish. As readers will remember, it's a blend of fully 60% Cabernet Franc with 40% Merlot, incorporating foudres in addition to 225-liter barriques, and the rich, toasty oak signature of yesteryear is now firmly in the background, even if the wine still carries a youthful patina.
