It has a light blueberry and crushed strawberry-scented bouquet that does not quite possess the intensity of the 2013 Echézeaux. There is a hint of fresh fig that emerges with time in the glass. The palate is clean and fresh. There is something almost "airy" about this Le Corton, with pitch perfect acidity and perhaps more transparency than I have observed in earlier vintages. It does not boast great density and fruit concentration on the finish, and perhaps it is just deprived the substance that a more benevolent season would have bestowed. Nevertheless, it is a delicious, almost easy-drinking little ingénue of a Corton that will give much drinking pleasure over the next 12-15 years. Production is 461 cases. Exhibiting aromas of jammy black fruits mingled with toasted coconut, spices and caricatural slatherings of new oak, it's full-bodied, rich and chewy, with generously extracted tannins that clamp down on the finish. All that oak and extract impedes access to the wine's generous fruit, rendering it less demonstrative and gourmand than its 2019 counterpart, and that's a pity, as recent vintages of Valandraud have been among the more successful of the few remaining hold-out "garagiste" wines of the Right Bank.(The Wine Advocate, Apr 07, 2023) ¥È¥Ã¥×¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ËÈ渪¤¹¤ëɾ²Á ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼ Chateau Valandraud ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼¤Ï1989ǯ¡¢¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥ê¥å¥Ã¥¯¡¦¥Æ¥å¥Ì¥ô¥¡¥óÉ׺ʤˤè¤ê¡¢¥µ¥ó¡¦¥Æ¥ß¥ê¥ª¥ó¤Îë¤ËÀßΩ¤µ¤ì¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ ¤ï¤º¤«0.6ha¤ÎȪ¤«¤é¥¹¥¿¡¼¥È¤·¸½ºß¤Ï8.88ha¤Þ¤Ç¹¤²¤é¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥Æ¥å¥Ì¥ô¥¡¥ó»á¤Ï¥ï¥¤¥ó¥Ó¥¸¥Í¥¹¤Ë¤ª¤±¤ë·Ð¸³¤Ï¤¢¤Ã¤¿¤â¤Î¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¤¤ê¤ÏÁǿͤǤ¢¤Ã¤¿¤¿¤á¡¢ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥ª¡¼¥¾¥ó¥Ì¤Î¥¢¥é¥ó¡¦¥Ü¡¼¥Æ¥£¥¨»á¤ä¥¸¥ë¡¦¥Ñ¥±»á¤Î½õÎÏ¡¢¥ß¥·¥§¥ë¡¦¥í¥é¥ó»á¤Î¶¨ÎϤòÆÀ¤Æ¡¢½é¥ô¥£¥ó¥Æ¡¼¥¸1991ǯ°Ê¹ß¡¢¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤¬À¸¤ß½Ð¤¹¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Ï¹â¤¤É¾²Á¤ò¼õ¤±¡¢¶Ã°ÛŪ¤Ê¥¹¥Ô¡¼¥É¤Ç¥°¥é¥ó¡¦¥¯¥ê¥å¤ËɤŨ¤¹¤ë¤Þ¤Ç¤Î¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤È¤Ê¤ê¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ 2012ǯ¤ËÂè1ÆÃÊ̵éB¤Ë¾º³Ê¤·¤¿¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼¤Ï¶Ã°ÛŪ¤Ê¥¹¥Ô¡¼¥É¤Ç¥È¥Ã¥×¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ËÅФê¤Ä¤á¤¿¥·¥ó¥Ç¥ì¥é¥ï¥¤¥ó¤È¸Æ¤Ð¤ì¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¶Å½ÌÅ٤ι⤵¤È¡¢²Ì¼ÂÌ£¤ÎËÉÙ¤µ¤¬ÆÃħ¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼ °ìÍ÷¤Ø

The aromatics alone are breathtaking, but the RSV is truly firing on all cylinders. Curiously, today the RSV is quite a bit rounder and suppler than the Echezeaux and Grands-Echezeaux. It shows remarkable silkiness, inner perfume and nobility. A seamless finish rounds things out in style. My instincts tell me this will firm up in bottle, but frankly I am a bit mystified that hasn¡Çt happened yet. The wine is exuberant and rich, owing that extra intensity to a vintage that was sunny, luminous and warm throughout the season. The fruit ripened perfectly on schedule. Interestingly, this wine is 50% Merlot with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. When the Gaja family first came to Bolgheri, they were heavily committed to the Merlot grape, with half the vineyards planted to that variety. Exhibiting aromas of jammy black fruits mingled with toasted coconut, spices and caricatural slatherings of new oak, it's full-bodied, rich and chewy, with generously extracted tannins that clamp down on the finish. All that oak and extract impedes access to the wine's generous fruit, rendering it less demonstrative and gourmand than its 2019 counterpart, and that's a pity, as recent vintages of Valandraud have been among the more successful of the few remaining hold-out "garagiste" wines of the Right Bank.(The Wine Advocate, Apr 07, 2023) ¥È¥Ã¥×¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ËÈ渪¤¹¤ëɾ²Á ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼ Chateau Valandraud ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼¤Ï1989ǯ¡¢¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥ê¥å¥Ã¥¯¡¦¥Æ¥å¥Ì¥ô¥¡¥óÉ׺ʤˤè¤ê¡¢¥µ¥ó¡¦¥Æ¥ß¥ê¥ª¥ó¤Îë¤ËÀßΩ¤µ¤ì¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ ¤ï¤º¤«0.6ha¤ÎȪ¤«¤é¥¹¥¿¡¼¥È¤·¸½ºß¤Ï8.88ha¤Þ¤Ç¹¤²¤é¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥Æ¥å¥Ì¥ô¥¡¥ó»á¤Ï¥ï¥¤¥ó¥Ó¥¸¥Í¥¹¤Ë¤ª¤±¤ë·Ð¸³¤Ï¤¢¤Ã¤¿¤â¤Î¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¤¤ê¤ÏÁǿͤǤ¢¤Ã¤¿¤¿¤á¡¢ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥ª¡¼¥¾¥ó¥Ì¤Î¥¢¥é¥ó¡¦¥Ü¡¼¥Æ¥£¥¨»á¤ä¥¸¥ë¡¦¥Ñ¥±»á¤Î½õÎÏ¡¢¥ß¥·¥§¥ë¡¦¥í¥é¥ó»á¤Î¶¨ÎϤòÆÀ¤Æ¡¢½é¥ô¥£¥ó¥Æ¡¼¥¸1991ǯ°Ê¹ß¡¢¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤¬À¸¤ß½Ð¤¹¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Ï¹â¤¤É¾²Á¤ò¼õ¤±¡¢¶Ã°ÛŪ¤Ê¥¹¥Ô¡¼¥É¤Ç¥°¥é¥ó¡¦¥¯¥ê¥å¤ËɤŨ¤¹¤ë¤Þ¤Ç¤Î¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤È¤Ê¤ê¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£ 2012ǯ¤ËÂè1ÆÃÊ̵éB¤Ë¾º³Ê¤·¤¿¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼¤Ï¶Ã°ÛŪ¤Ê¥¹¥Ô¡¼¥É¤Ç¥È¥Ã¥×¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ËÅФê¤Ä¤á¤¿¥·¥ó¥Ç¥ì¥é¥ï¥¤¥ó¤È¸Æ¤Ð¤ì¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¶Å½ÌÅ٤ι⤵¤È¡¢²Ì¼ÂÌ£¤ÎËÉÙ¤µ¤¬ÆÃħ¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥ô¥¡¥é¥ó¥É¥í¡¼ °ìÍ÷¤Ø

Still, the 2005 is surprisingly round and harmonious for a young vintage of Biondi-Santi, in fact, I had a hard time putting the glass down! Though medium in body, the wine offers gorgeous persistence and a long, exceptionally pure finish. I expect the 2005 Brunello to shut down in bottle, but readers who have an opportunity to taste the wine should not hesitate. Biondi-Santi did not produce a Riserva in 2005; instead the best of the fruit that is normally destined for the Riserva plus a selection of old vines near the heart of the estate were used for the 2005 Brunello. A startlingly dark, mouth-watering amalgam of purple plum paste, blackberry preserves, bitter chocolate, toasted walnut, soy, and raw beef intrigues the nose. On the palate, this cleaves to the dark side, with viscous, mouth-coating concentration of lightly-cooked black fruits, charred meat, mysterious forest floor complexity, and bitter-sweet florality, but simultaneously delivers a vibratory finish like that of the energetic Grands-Echezeaux. With its palpable extract, profound personality, and refined but abundant tannins, this is surely wine to set aside for at least a decade.(The Wine Advocate, Apr 30, 2007) ¥É¥á¡¼¥Ì ¥É ¥é ¥í¥Þ¥Í ¥³¥ó¥Æ¥£ °ìÍ÷¤Ø

Inky colored and insanely perfumed, with to-die-for notes of lavender, Provencal herbs, roasted meats, black cherries, truffle, crème de cassis and licorice, it flows onto the palate with massive concentration, a stunning mid-palate and a thick, rich texture that never gets heavy or cumbersome. Visibly more mature on the rim, the nose is not quite as cohesive as the 1986 with mulberry, leather, fig and tertiary aromas. The palate has good weight, which is commendable given that this was not a Right Bank vintage, but the tannins feel just a little coarse and it certainly did not offer the same degree of precision as the 1986 Le Pin. Maybe there are better bottles out there, but I would be inclined to drink mine (if I had any) over the next 5-10 years. Tasted June 2016.(The Wine Advocate, The Wine Advocate)
