In this vertical, the 1995 stands out for its broad, ample frame and tropically-leaning overtones. So often, Salon is a Champagne of tension and focus. À¸»º¼Ô¥µ¥í¥óSalon¥ï¥¤¥ó̾¥Ö¥é¥ó ¥É ¥Ö¥é¥óBlanc de Blancs¥ô¥£¥ó¥Æ¡¼¥¸2002ÍÆÎÌ1500ml²òÀâ¥Ñ¡¼¥«¡¼¥Ý¥¤¥ó¥È: 95ÅÀͽÁÛ¤µ¤ì¤ë°û¤ßº¢¡§2018 - 2035I sacrificed a bottle of the 2002 Brut Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil from my own cellar to fill this gap in The Wine Advocate database and was interested to see that the wine has evolved a little since I last encountered it a couple of years ago. Subtle aromas of brioche, iodine and walnuts now inflect its bouquet of ripe lemon, green apple and crushed chalk, and on the palate, the wine is full-bodied, broad and powerful, with a fine mousse and considerable depth and dimension, concluding with a delicately chalky finish. Wafting from the glass with aromas of yellow apple, toasted almonds, nougat, shortbread, warm spices, honeycomb and white flowers, its full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, with incisive acids, chalky structure and a tensile profile.
