Given the relative infrequency with which a vintage is ¡Èdeclared¡É by Krug, their ¡ÈCollection¡É bottlings represent the remnants of an already elite band. But this 1989 represents the first re-release from the only series of three consecutive vintage bottlings - 1988-1990 - in Krug¡Çs history. The mingling of saline, nutty, and caramelized notes in the nose - adumbrating this wine¡Çs entire performance - is gorgeous. Butter-toasted hazelnuts, dried wild mushrooms, kelp, and cocoa mingle in a silken, mouthwateringly saline and savory matrix reminiscent of oyster liquor laced with fresh lemon juice (because, there is still a youthfully citric store of energy here). This finishes with correspondingly pronounced umami and with tangy vibrancy of citrus and salt. After a day open, the nutty elements become more piquant and walnut-like, but the smoky hints of oxidation remain balanced by citric and mineral elements and positively integrated into a mysteriously diverse show. The palate becomes plusher (perhaps in part due to diminishing mousse) and creamy in an almost whipped-cream fashion, yet the long finish continues to offer uncanny refreshment. Certainly this can be safely held for at least a few more years and perhaps in an ideal cellar will ¡Èplateau¡É (or continue to).(The Wine Advocate, Nov 30, 2013) ¡Ö¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¥ó¤ÎÄ벦¡×°û¤à¤¿¤Ó¤Ë¤¢¤ëȯ¸«¤È¤¤é¤á¤¯´¶Æ° ¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥° Krug 1843ǯ¤Ë¥è¥Ï¥ó¡á¥è¥¼¥Õ¡¦¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥°¤Ë¤è¤Ã¤ÆÀßΩ¤µ¤ì¤¿Í³½ï¤¢¤ë¥á¥¾¥ó¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥°¤Ï¤½¤Îǯ¤Î250¶è²è¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ÈËÄÂç¤Ê¥ê¥¶¡¼¥Ö¥ï¥¤¥ó¥é¥¤¥Ö¥é¥ê¡¼¤Ë¤¢¤ë¡¢°Û¤Ê¤ë14ǯʬ¤Î150¶è²è¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¤È¥Ö¥ì¥ó¥É¤Îµ»½Ñ¤òÁȤ߹ç¤ï¤»¡¢¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥° ¥°¥é¥ó¥É¡¦¥¥å¥ô¥§¤ÎÀ¸»º¤È¡¢¤¹¤Ù¤Æ¤Î¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥° ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÎÈþ¡¢É½¸½¡¢¥¨¥ì¥¬¥ó¥¹¤ò¼Â¸½¤¹¤ë¤Î¤ËɬÍפʻþ´Ö¤òÀäÂÐŪ¤Ëº½Å¤·¡¢ËèǯºÇ¹â¤Î¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ò¤¤ê¤¢¤²¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥° °ìÍ÷¤Ø

The wine explodes from the glass with an exotic, liqueur-like expression of rich, ripe fruit. Warm oxidative and honeyed tones add complexity as this large-scaled, dramatic Champagne opens up in the glass. This is an especially rich version of Contraste, most likely owing to the presence of 2003 juice. Ideally, Contraste is a wine best enjoyed at the dinner table, where its decidedly vinous qualities will be best appreciated. Going forward, Selosse has decided to vinify and age the Ay and Ambonnay parcels separately. It will be fascinating to see how those wines develop. They were highly promising when I last tasted them from barrel about a year ago. Sadly, Contraste is not available in the US, although I hope that will change soon, as I am one of the wine's biggest fans. Disgorged December 3, 2008. He furthers, "It¡Çs not just Chardonnay or Pinot Noir, but the chalk that brings the ultimate finesse, length and precision of Cristal." Forty-five blocks with averaging age of 43-years-old, low-yielding vines form the base of Cristal, which is usually made of approximately 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Due to an early bud break (end of March) and the wet summer, the 2007 was picked at the end of August, so almost 100 days after the flowering instead of the normal 93-95 days. There is a bit less Pinot Noir than usual (57%) and accordingly, more Chardonnay (43%) in the 2007 Cristal. This Champagne comes along in a golden color and with a deep and matured, yet well-defined bouquet of ripe yellow fruits and honey notes. Full-bodied, round and very complex, the generous 2007 is a perfect mix of ripe fruit and precise minerality. It is a silky textured, pure and precise, as well as powerful and expressive Champagne. It has great tension and grip in the very long and persistent finish. Great expression of chalk. The 2007 was disgorged in 2015. The 2009 is to be released in September; the 2008 won't be in the market earlier than January 2018. Neither a 2010 nor a 2011 will be released, but a 2012.(225, The Wine Advocate 30th Jun 2016) ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÎºÇ¹âÊö¤ËΩ¤Ä¥á¥¾¥ó ¥ë¥¤ ¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë Louis Roederer ¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë¤¬À¤³¦¤ÎºÇ¹âÊö¤ËΩ¤Ä¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤Î¥á¥¾¥ó¤Ç¤¢¤ë¤³¤È¤Ï´Ö°ã¤¤¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ ¥É¥ó¡¦¥Ú¥ê¥Ë¥è¥ó¡¢¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥°¡¢¥Ý¥ë¡¦¥í¥¸¥§¤Ê¤É¤Î¥é¥¤¥Ð¥ë¤Ï¸ºß¤·¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢Ç¯»º100ËüËܶᤤµ¬ÌϤǡ¢¥Î¥ó¥ô¥£¥ó¥Æ¡¼¥¸¤«¤é¥×¥ì¥¹¥Æ¥£¡¼¥¸¥å¤Þ¤Ç¹â¤¤ÉʼÁ¤òÊݤäƤ¤¤ë¤Î¤Ï¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë°Ê³°¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ Ȫ¤ÎȾʬ¤Ï¥Ó¥ª¥Ç¥£¥Ê¥ß¤ÇºÏÇݤ·¡¢¹Ìºî¤Ë¤ÏÇϤâ»ÈÍѤ·¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ Ȫ¤ÎȾʬ¤¬¥Ó¥ª¥í¥¸¥Ã¥¯¤Îǧ¾Ú¤òÆÀ¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÏåÌÌ©¤Ê¾ú¤µ»½Ñ¤òµá¤á¤é¤ì¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢ÁǺà¤È¤Ê¤ë¥Ö¥É¥¦¤¬Í¥¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤Ê¤±¤ì¤ÐÏäϻϤޤê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ ¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë¤Î¤¹¤Ù¤Æ¤Î¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤Ë¶¦Ä̤¹¤ëÆ©ÌÀ´¶¤Ï¡¢¥Ó¥ª¥Ç¥£¥Ê¥ß¤«¤é¤¯¤ë¤Î¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥ë¥¤ ¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë °ìÍ÷¤Ø

Opening in the glass with aromas of pastry cream, dried fruits, pear, warm spices, freshly baked bread and vanilla pod, its medium to full-bodied, pillowy and fine-boned, with excellent concentration, racy acids and a precise, chiseled profile. It's full-bodied, tensile and searingly chalky, but this concentrated and intense wine's racy spine of acidity is beautifully integrated. This was the first blend Lécaillon presided over as a Roederer employee - three years before he was appointed chef des caves in 1999 - and it was clearly a harbinger of great things to come. Amazingly, the finished pH is fully 2.82, yet the wine is perfectly balanced.(March 2020 Week 1, The Wine Advocate, 6th Mar 2020) ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÎºÇ¹âÊö¤ËΩ¤Ä¥á¥¾¥ó ¥ë¥¤ ¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë Louis Roederer ¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë¤¬À¤³¦¤ÎºÇ¹âÊö¤ËΩ¤Ä¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤Î¥á¥¾¥ó¤Ç¤¢¤ë¤³¤È¤Ï´Ö°ã¤¤¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ ¥É¥ó¡¦¥Ú¥ê¥Ë¥è¥ó¡¢¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥°¡¢¥Ý¥ë¡¦¥í¥¸¥§¤Ê¤É¤Î¥é¥¤¥Ð¥ë¤Ï¸ºß¤·¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢Ç¯»º100ËüËܶᤤµ¬ÌϤǡ¢¥Î¥ó¥ô¥£¥ó¥Æ¡¼¥¸¤«¤é¥×¥ì¥¹¥Æ¥£¡¼¥¸¥å¤Þ¤Ç¹â¤¤ÉʼÁ¤òÊݤäƤ¤¤ë¤Î¤Ï¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë°Ê³°¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ Ȫ¤ÎȾʬ¤Ï¥Ó¥ª¥Ç¥£¥Ê¥ß¤ÇºÏÇݤ·¡¢¹Ìºî¤Ë¤ÏÇϤâ»ÈÍѤ·¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ Ȫ¤ÎȾʬ¤¬¥Ó¥ª¥í¥¸¥Ã¥¯¤Îǧ¾Ú¤òÆÀ¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÏåÌÌ©¤Ê¾ú¤µ»½Ñ¤òµá¤á¤é¤ì¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢ÁǺà¤È¤Ê¤ë¥Ö¥É¥¦¤¬Í¥¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤Ê¤±¤ì¤ÐÏäϻϤޤê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ ¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë¤Î¤¹¤Ù¤Æ¤Î¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤Ë¶¦Ä̤¹¤ëÆ©ÌÀ´¶¤Ï¡¢¥Ó¥ª¥Ç¥£¥Ê¥ß¤«¤é¤¯¤ë¤Î¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥ë¥¤ ¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë °ìÍ÷¤Ø

Where do I start? Everything about the wine is sensational from start to finish. An endless array of crushed rocks, minerals and bright citrus emerges from this intensely pointed, chiseled Champagne. The elegance, though, is really in the texture. The wine has acquired an element of vinosity over the years, with the tiniest and finest of bubbles and simply extraordinary finesse. Bursting from the glass with expressive aromas of ripe citrus fruit, nectarine, white flowers, freshly baked bread and subtle hints of honeycomb, it's medium to full-bodied, vinous and fleshy, with an exuberant core of fruit that's girdled by racy acids, resulting in a wine that's simultaneously chiseled and demonstrative, meaning that early appeal doesn't come at the expense of the requisite tension for long-term cellaring. Concluding with a long, aromatic and intensely chalky finish, it is a brilliant Champagne that will offer a broad drinking window. This bottle was disgorged in June 2021 with seven grams per liter dosage.(February 2022 Week 1, The Wine Advocate, 3rd Feb 2022) ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÎºÇ¹âÊö¤ËΩ¤Ä¥á¥¾¥ó ¥ë¥¤ ¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë Louis Roederer ¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë¤¬À¤³¦¤ÎºÇ¹âÊö¤ËΩ¤Ä¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤Î¥á¥¾¥ó¤Ç¤¢¤ë¤³¤È¤Ï´Ö°ã¤¤¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ ¥É¥ó¡¦¥Ú¥ê¥Ë¥è¥ó¡¢¥¯¥ê¥å¥Ã¥°¡¢¥Ý¥ë¡¦¥í¥¸¥§¤Ê¤É¤Î¥é¥¤¥Ð¥ë¤Ï¸ºß¤·¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢Ç¯»º100ËüËܶᤤµ¬ÌϤǡ¢¥Î¥ó¥ô¥£¥ó¥Æ¡¼¥¸¤«¤é¥×¥ì¥¹¥Æ¥£¡¼¥¸¥å¤Þ¤Ç¹â¤¤ÉʼÁ¤òÊݤäƤ¤¤ë¤Î¤Ï¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë°Ê³°¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ Ȫ¤ÎȾʬ¤Ï¥Ó¥ª¥Ç¥£¥Ê¥ß¤ÇºÏÇݤ·¡¢¹Ìºî¤Ë¤ÏÇϤâ»ÈÍѤ·¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ Ȫ¤ÎȾʬ¤¬¥Ó¥ª¥í¥¸¥Ã¥¯¤Îǧ¾Ú¤òÆÀ¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤ÏåÌÌ©¤Ê¾ú¤µ»½Ñ¤òµá¤á¤é¤ì¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢ÁǺà¤È¤Ê¤ë¥Ö¥É¥¦¤¬Í¥¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤Ê¤±¤ì¤ÐÏäϻϤޤê¤Þ¤»¤ó¡£ ¥ë¥¤¡¦¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë¤Î¤¹¤Ù¤Æ¤Î¥·¥ã¥ó¥Ñ¡¼¥Ë¥å¤Ë¶¦Ä̤¹¤ëÆ©ÌÀ´¶¤Ï¡¢¥Ó¥ª¥Ç¥£¥Ê¥ß¤«¤é¤¯¤ë¤Î¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥ë¥¤ ¥í¥Ç¥ì¡¼¥ë °ìÍ÷¤Ø
